• Story submissions -- When you submit a story through our contact form (powered by Netlify Forms), we collect the information you voluntarily provide: your name, email address, performer name, social media links, topic, and message. This data is used solely to review and respond to your submission.
• Newsletter subscriptions -- If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. This is used exclusively to send you editorial updates about new stories and platform news.
• No account data -- Unboxthem does not require registration, login, or any user account. There are no passwords, profiles, or user-generated content beyond story submissions.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, open-source analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track individual visitors across websites. All data is aggregated and anonymous. No data is sent to Google or any advertising platform. Plausible is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR.

Cookies

Unboxthem does not use cookies. Our analytics provider (Plausible) is cookieless by design. You will never see a cookie consent banner on this site because there are no cookies to consent to.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate this website. None of these services are used for advertising or user tracking:

• Netlify -- Our hosting provider. Netlify processes form submissions and serves the website. Netlify may collect server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) as part of standard web hosting. See Netlify's Privacy Policy.
• Contentful -- Our content management system. Contentful stores and delivers editorial content (stories, performer profiles). It does not interact with or collect visitor data. See Contentful's Privacy Policy.
• Plausible Analytics -- Privacy-focused analytics. No personal data collected, no cookies. See Plausible's Privacy Policy.

Data sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Story submission data is stored securely through Netlify and is only accessible to the Unboxthem editorial team. We will never disclose your data to third parties except where required by law.

Data retention

Story submissions are retained for as long as necessary to review, respond to, and potentially publish your story. If your submission is not selected for publication, we will delete it within 12 months of receipt unless you request earlier deletion. Newsletter subscription data is retained until you unsubscribe.
